This is book 16. I've enjoyed the first 15, but this one is a dog. Ridiculous plot with all these special forces teams pitted against each other. Impossible knowledge and solutions that seem to be shared by many of the teams even though there is no way for them all to know the same information. Silly plot twist in the end merely there to fuel the purchase of the next book in the series. I almost wonder sometimes if he has written enough books now to cut and paste action scenes from previous books and come up with a thin story line to glue them together. This would be that book. What of the grand story line has been furthered by this book? SPOILER ALERT (OTHERWISE KNOWN AS "SAVE YOUR MONEY" ALERT) The US government is mad at the team. Skip to book #17 now. I'd like a few hours of my life back now that I wasted reading this one.Product details

I have read every Matt Drake books. Never disappointed and always hungry for more!!!!! But having to wait until next year for the next book I'll starve. Please hurry the next bok.
The whole series has been great! Entertaining throughout. Don't know why these books are in the "bargain bin" on . On the same lines as Andy McDermott or James Rollins.
Hard to put any of these books down. I find myself wanting to know what happens next all the time! I can't wait to see what happens in their next adventure.
David Leadbetter continues the Spear saga in a wildly entertaining tale about what it takes for family to stick together even when asked to once again save the world. The Four Corners deftly brings together a race against time with a special forces free for all that is reminiscent of some of the masters of the spy thrillers of old. Four Corners is a five star fun fest ! For those who have not yet read the Matt Drake series, pick up the first one and by the time you get here, you will thank David for his talent, imagination and brilliant writing style!
This book left me adrenaline pumped and ready for the next chapter. By far this is best of the Matt Drake series. Spear will be sorely missed by their family of readers while they are preparing their return to DC. Until then I know we will all be pleased to meet the new band of characters and in a new fresh series. I just can't wait!!
What a ride. As the team try to stop the apocalypse an save themselves, the American government are trying to kill them. How do they fare with bullets, explosions an nukes? To find out more, you need to get the book. Cant wait for the next one.
Another dynamic thriller with the Spear team to prevent Armageddon. All team members fight their way to win the world a reprieve from a mad order of Nazi criminals. During the battle they lose the confidence of the US government and their privileged status as elite soldiers. What a cliffhanger? Can't wait for book 18 to see how the team resolves their latest and most dangerous crisis.
